What may seem like a simple ingredient is actually quite complex in the way you prepare it as well as the historical + cultural significance it possesses. Join Chef Kevin Mitchell and friends in a hands-on cooking class that will not only teach you how to perfect that pot of rice but also leave you with new ways to celebrate different cultures with this complex + global grain.

Know Before You Go

  • ALL BAGS MUST BE CLEAR except for small personal clutches (no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″)

  • Attire: wear what makes you feel most comfortable, keeping in mind this is a hands-on cooking class; we recommend closed-toed shoes and having your hair pulled back
