  • What's the bag policy?

ALL BAGS MUST BE CLEAR except for small personal clutches (no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″)

  • What should I wear?

Wear what makes you feel most comfortable, keeping in mind this event takes place outdoors and the temperature can fluctuate throughout the day. You can expect a 7-10 minute walk from the parking lot and shuttle / rideshare drop off areas

  • Do I need to purchase the shuttle in advance?

If you have purchased a General Admission ticket, daily round trip shuttle tickets cost $35 and must be purchased in advance. If you have purchased The CV Pass or The Weekender, the shuttle is included with the purchase of your ticket.

Early bird pricing ends January 31. Beginning February 1, the round-trip ticket will cost $50.

  • Where is the downtown shuttle pick-up location?

The shuttle pick-up and drop-off location will be at the centrally located Charleston Visitor Center & Bus Shed, located at 375 Meeting Street in the heart of historic downtown Charleston – a stone’s throw away from many favorite restaurants, bars, shops, and experiences the City has to offer. Parking is available in a pay-to-park garage next to the pick-up location.

  • How long is the drive from Downtown Charleston?

If you are taking the shuttle to Culinary Village, you can expect an approximately 20 minute drive from Downtown Charleston to Riverfront Park.

  • Can I bring my kids?

All guests must be 21+. No infants, children, or pets will be permitted in the event.

Service animals are permitted throughout the festival. They must be properly trained and under proper care of their owners; remain by the handler’s side at all times and be harnessed, leashed, or tethered; be housebroken and relieve themselves outdoors; and be up to date on all legally required vaccinations. Anyone bringing a service animal will be responsible for and liable for any damage or injury the animal causes. No emotional support, therapy, or companion animals will be permitted.

  • Will I have to purchase items once inside?

The Culinary Village is an all-inclusive event: all food + beverage samples and experiences are included with the purchase of a ticket. In addition to the samples, you will also be able to purchase larger bites, artisanal goods, and CHSWF retail within the event landscape.

  • Will medical staff be on site?

A fully-equipped medical site staffed by trained personnel is located at the Culinary Village @ Riverfront Park. Check the Charleston Wine + Food mobile app for exact locations.

  • Are the shuttles ADA compliant?

Not all shuttle buses are ADA compliant. Please coordinate with us in advance so we can ensure that we can accommodate your needs on-site. We will provide additional ADA Compliant parking information closer to the festival. There will also be limited complimentary on-premise transportation to assist with the route from the parking lot to the main entrance. This is first-come, first-served.

  • Can I leave the Culinary Village and return the same day?

Yes, you may leave the Culinary Village and return that day; however, you MUST keep your wristband on to gain re-entry. If your wristband is removed, you will not be re-admitted into the event. You’ll also want to hold onto your complimentary glassware, as only one glass will be issued per guest.

  • Can I smoke in the park?

No. All Charleston Wine + Food events are non-smoking.

  • How can I stay hydrated at the festival?

Hey, you can’t live by wine, beer and spirits alone…so we’re serving up the good stuff from our water partners. There will be barrels throughout the Culinary Village with bottles of Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino still and sparkling water!
