Nana Araba Wilmot is chef and owner of Georgina’s Private Chef and Catering Co. and curator of Love That I Knead Supper Club. Starting her career in Philly, Chef Nana Araba graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, while working for Wolfgang Puck catering and Iron Chef Jose Garces restaurants Tinto/Village Whiskey, Olde bar and Amada to name a few. Moved to NYC in 2015 as opening team for Amada NYC in FiDi district and soon after Le CouCou in Soho, a Daniel Rose/ Stephen Starr collaboration. During her 3 year tenure at Le CouCou, the team garnered JBF Best New Restaurant 2017, 3 stars NY Times and 1 Michelin star. After moving back home during the pandemic, in fall 2020 Chef Nana started Love That I Knead Supperclub, a Ghanaian/West African focused dinner series, popping up in Philly, NYC and Ghana, celebrating Black history and food ways across the diaspora. Reimagining that lens, Nana explores her identity on a plate while also helping others to “find their way back” through culture, food and music.
