Settle into downtown Charleston’s first African restaurant nestled in the East Side for this special evening. West Africa’s influence on Lowcountry cuisine has long been overlooked. Overlook, no more. This evening will be a celebration of the flavors of home for chef and entrepreneur Bintou N’Daw, as she conjures magic with ingredients like Boaboa fruit, DawaDawa and Yet. Guest chef Nana Wilmot owner of Georgina’s Private Chef and Catering Co. and curator of Love That I Knead Supper Club, a West African focused dinner series that celebrates Black history and food ways across the diaspora. Sommelier Femi Oyediran, partner in wine darling Graft, will pair wines for this feast!

Know Before You Go

  • ALL BAGS MUST BE CLEAR except for small personal clutches (no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″)
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable between events
  • This event is all-inclusive: food, beverage, and gratuity is included in the ticket price

  • Seats may be a combination of bar/counter seats, booths, and tables and you may be seated with other parties depending on restaurant layout
