Subject to Change Wine Co. is a community-oriented winery located in Richmond, CA. Established in 2017 by Alex Pomerantz, the company was founded on a true love for the intersection of California’s unique agricultural landscape, natural wine and food, and the passion and community that those things inspire.

The small team is focused on creating a more sustainable wine industry––by investing in people, regenerative viticulture, alternative packaging and beyond––and making wine an inclusive and accessible product. They work exclusively with organically-farmed vineyards, mainly in regions of California that are underappreciated and underrepresented, like Mendocino County. The wines are native-yeast fermented and made without any additions or subtractions (pure fermented grape juice!) to showcase a true, raw expression of the California vineyards from which they come.
