From hip happenings around town to opportunities for supporting our local culinary + hospitality community, What’s Fresh is Charleston Wine + Food’s latest blog series. Take a seat at one of Charleston’s newest patio pop-ups, have your finger on the pulse of the latest + greatest happenings at your go-to spots in town, and stay in the know of how the industry is continuing to provide active ways for community engagement.

Here’s what’s fresh in Charleston during the month of June.

Stems & Skins Lobster and Chenin Dinner

Stems & Skins is sharing two of their favorite things with you, that just so happen to be even better together: lobster and Chenin Blanc! On June 19, you can enjoy both at Stems & Skins in Park Circle. Their regular dinner menu will also be available, offering small plates to accompany your lobster dinner, and the Chenin Blanc will be flowing by the glass + bottle. Purchase a ticket to reserve your seat + lobster here.

Where to Find Life Raft Treats This Summer

What says “summer” more than an ice cream truck? Stay cool amidst the Charleston heat with Life Raft Treat’s epic flavors + mind-blowing creations (you never know what Cynthia Wong will think of next!). If the craving hits you but the truck isn’t out, you can head to one of the following retail locations for your fix:

Retail locations for Not Fried Chicken and seasonal treats: Handy & Hot, Island Provisions, Baguette Magic, The Table at Storey Farms, and Whole Foods (Not Fried Chicken can be found in the gelato case)

Custom treats on the dessert menu: Chubby Fish, Jackrabbit Filly
