Years of Participation
Over the course of a career spanning more than two decades, Bill has worked in each of the three-tiers of the beverage alcohol category. Beginning with Front of House Operations and Beverage Program management in the On-Premise channel for several large Restaurant and Nightlife groups based in New York, he then shifted into the second tier and worked for the nation’s largest distributor of Wine & Spirits in a Trade Development role. His current position with Taub Family Selections / Palm Bay, has him managing supplier relations and developing national commercial business strategy for various wineries including Jean-Luc Colombo, Paul Cheneau and the California portfolio of wines from the Taub Family (Taub Family Vineyards, Saracina Vineyards, Au Contraire, Mon Fere, and others). Specific to these California wines, Bill has taken on the first-tier with his responsibilities related to brand marketing, vineyard sourcing/planning, label and package design, and new product development.
During his career Bill has earned accreditation from multiple industry organizations including: WSET – Level 2 Spirits (with Distinction); Italian Wine Central Professional Wine Program (with Honors); and the Master Court of Sommeliers Introductory Course.
After graduating from Boston University’s School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Concentration in Marketing, Bill worked for several years in the field of Public Relations, representing multiple Technology firms in the greater-Boston area.
When Bill isn’t sharing amazing wines with family and friends, he enjoys coaching youth soccer in Brooklyn, NY and traveling with his family.
