Connecticut native and long-time Lowcountry resident Will D’Erasmo is Chef de Cuisine at The Obstinate Daughter. Having previously worked at Wild Olive, he took the opportunity to help open The Obstinate Daughter in 2014 and has been there ever since. He is passionate about using local and seasonal ingredients to make unique dishes, melding Italian, and Southern flavors. Will’s career also includes time at Magnolia’s and Taco Boy – and nearly 20 years delighting friends and family with his cooking. Will earned an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts Technology at The Culinary Institute of Charleston and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Hampden-Sydney College. When he’s not in The OD kitchen, will enjoys listening to Phish, playing ice hockey and spending time with his family!
