Thomas Cuni is the Export Manager at DAMILANO Barolo: a historical winery located in Piedmont, Italy. His primary focus is the USA market, nevertheless he is in charge of world wide export. He studied Food Science Technology and Oenology in Bologna (the oldest University in Europe). Thomas arrived in USA (New York) in 2006, where, hungry for experience, he proceeded to work in a fast upscale environment, raising his clients focus on luxury wines.  Passionate about wine and thirsty of knowledge, rapidly grew thanks to companies like Tricana Imports (NY), Principe Foods USA (CA), and ultimately VIAS Imports (NY). During the 10 years spent in US, Thomas learned English and Spanish at a professional level. He then moved to Italy to become Damilano Export manger, a winery Thomas knew very well from his previous work experience at VIAS Imports. In his free time Thomas loves practicing sports of any kind, in particular he run the New York marathon (4 times finisher) and competed several times in triathlons events. He very much enjoys spending time with his family and his english bulldog.
