Tanya Gurrieri

Salthouse Catering | Charleston, SC

With over 20 years in the special event industry, Tanya Gurrieri joined Salthouse and Five Four Nine to help launch these new ventures in the Fall of 2012.

She brings with her deep local roots firmly planted in the culinary scene of the Lowcountry and a passion for food.

Her experience in event planning, catering and venue management reach from Charleston to Atlanta and back again.

Previous to launching Salthouse Catering, Tanya built a successful full service catering division for Caviar & Bananas and was featured in Martha Stewart Weddings as well as US Weekly.  Upon her return to Charleston in 2004, Tanya spent 7 years developing and growing Good Food Catering at the Historic Rice Mill for Holy City Hospitality Group.

Tanya is a native Charlestonian and a graduate of the College of Charleston.  She is married to a former chef turned building products manager and they have a ten year old daughter and six year old son.
