My name is Shannon Standhart , born and raised in Upstate NY. I have lived in Southern Maine and soon after found myself in the Charming City of Charleston, SC 9 years ago pursuing my career in Hospitality. My passion is creating happiness through cocktails. I have worked with the Mex 1 and Islander 71 Company for almost 7 years now and have loved every second of it. I have had the opportunity to study tequila in Jalisco, Mexico and can proudly say made my way as a female into an all male bartender seen in Maine when I was there. My current role is overseeing the Beverage Program and Event Sales at Islander 71 in Isle of Palms. My goal is to help map this location out as a premiere destination on the east coast. My love for the beach and sunsets have kept me grounded here in Charleston, looking forward to what the future holds.
