Charleston Bay Gourmet has been a popular caterer in the lowcountry since 1991. They have been a mainstay for locals with any type of event from oyster roasts to big Southern weddings. In January of 2023, Chef Sara Prezioso along with Chef Joe DiMaio and Kieran DiMaio bought the company and have elevated the culinary program to new heights, focusing on local quality ingredients and new rotating seasonal menu items.
Chef Sara Prezioso is originally from Columbia, S.C. and has lived in Charleston for almost 20 years; she has worked in restaurants including Poogan’s Porch and The Darling Oyster Bar where she was one of the chefs for almost a decade. She is excited to return to the festival with her own company and ready to show all that Charleston Bay Gourmet has to offer.
