2020, 2022-2024

Samantha Kramer is the co-owner of local restaurant and bakery Baguette Magic, as well as co-owner of up and coming hot sauce brand Chile Dulce Hot Sauce. Samantha graduated from Hampshire College in 2016 with a concentration in food system labor studies. After graduating, she made her way back to Charleston where she worked in many of Charleston’s restaurants, working her way up. In 2018 she opened a pop-up restaurant with her partner, Matzo y Masa, serving non-traditional Jewish and Mexican fare.

In November of 2019 she took over local bakery Baguette Magic alongside sister Paula Kramer, creating new breakfast, lunch and bakery menus and evolving a small restaurant into 2 storefronts and a wholesale program. We are so excited to continue to bring new flavors and pastries to Charleston after being voted Best Bakery in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
