Ryan Croxton is co-owner of Rappahannock Oyster Company and multiple restaurants under the Rappahannock Restaurant Group umbrella. Ryan and his cousin, Travis, operate oyster farms in three locations across the Chesapeake Bay. They also own restaurants across the country, including Rappahannock Oyster Bar in Los Angeles, Washington, DC and Charleston, SC as well as Rappahannock Restaurant in Richmond, Merroir in Topping and an upcoming outpost in Dulles International Airport opening in June 2024. Croxton’s accomplishments have garnered him recognition as an innovator in the culinary world. He was a recipient of the Tastemaker’s Award from Food & Wine magazine. Esquire named Rappahannock Restaurant as one of 12 Best New Restaurants in the country.
