A southerner at heart born and raised in New England, and Rhode Island most of the time. My grandmother was a proud and strong women she didn’t take lip from anyone she was the inspiration for why I wanted to become a chef. Agnes worked hard a mother of 7 and the operator of the Elbo Inn in Newport and she also worker at the La Hacienda restaurant in Middletown R.I... She taught me the work ethic and passion for food, and these beliefs have followed throughout my career and she still reminds me daily spiritually. As for me I’m married to Becky with three children Kyla, Emma and Noah and two dogs. I love to smoke meats and to be always evolving and changing my style of cuisine. I always get asked what my favorite dish, it’s the hardest question to answer because I love them all.
