After 20 years in the culinary industry, Michael knows what it takes to make a restaurant tick. As a former host, server, bartender, line cook, and manager, he’s done it all and seen even more. So, when Michael grew frustrated with the lack of fast-casual breakfast restaurants that served biscuits and brunch all day, he launched a catering concept called Vicious Biscuit. Serving the Charleston community with pop-up menu offerings and private events, Michael quickly amassed a following for his made-from-scratch biscuits and creative pairings of toppings and sauces. After a local newspaper article spotlighted Vicious Biscuit in 2017, Michael connected with his now business partner George McLaughlin. Together they brought Vicious Biscuit to the masses in brick-and-mortar at its flagship location in Mount Pleasant, SC, and have since expanded to six locations across the Southeast.
Michael resides in Johns Island, SC with his wife and their two children.
