Originally from Charleston, SC, Megan Deschaine has been making drinks and making friends for 18 years in the hospitality industry.

She is proud to have run some of the best bar programs in town, including Doar Bros., Little Palm, The Macintosh, among others.

Deschaine has volunteered as the Vice President of the Charleston chapter of the United States Bartenders’ Guild for the last 10 years and is proud to lead the beverage program at FAB since it’s inception. Deschaine’s cocktails are published in five different cocktail books and the New York Times. In 2021, she hung up her bar management hat to start her own business, Better Pour, in which she brings her passions for the craft and hospitality to private events, mixology parties and consulting restaurants and bars around the Lowcountry.

Deschaine and her husband welcomed their first child in 2023, and she is proud to say her new favorite title is mama.
