My cooking career started in 2010 at Blu on Folly Beach. Since then I have had the oppurtunity to work under some awesome chefs. The restaurants I spent my time learning and growing as an individual and cook include Blu, Sweeney’s, The Drawing Room, Anson, Rappahannock, and currently Burwell’s & Balao.
I am a native to the Lowcountry and draw inspiration from everything that surrounds me the culture, land, and sea. The luxury of such a diverse ecosystem really allows me the opportunity to showcase emotion and creativity with food while keeping that relaxed and inviting feeling the Lowcountry is famous for. The sea and land always have a surprise tucked away for future discovery and enjoyment, which is something I love about cooking and take pride in serving guests each night.
