Chef Marc Collins is a co-founder of the Charleston Wine + Food Festival and has been the Executive Chef at Circa 1886 Restaurant for almost two decades. Chef Collins is a local food champion within the Charleston community and beyond. He has a passion for giving back to the Charleston culinary community and has volunteered for several organizations like Louie’s Kids, Feed the Need and the Lowcountry Food Bank, just to name a few. In 2019, Chef Collins was named a South Carolina Chef Ambassador. As a Chef Ambassador, Chef Collins had the opportunity to showcase our state’s culinary history. Most recently, Chef launched a unique menu concept that takes guests on a journey through the belly of South Carolina Foodways from its humble beginnings, multinational influences and what that means for modern day cuisine. Chef believes that cooking local should go deeper than just sourcing local products.
