Lucrezia Carrega Malabaila is the daughter of Costanza Cioni and Corradino Carrega Malabaila, and the 65th generation of the Malabaila family. Born in Florence and raised in Piedmont, Lucrezia then spent 10 years in Canale, a small village in the Roero where the winery's estate is located. For her university degree, Lucrezia studied in Florence with an additional sommelier course. After her degree in Economics she decided to come back home to Canale to take care of the family business. Now she is making the wine at Malabaila estate and overseeing the travel aspects of the winery
