I’m a native of Charleston, SC, I grew up on the sea islands of Charleston! I discovered my love and passion for cooking at the age of 8 years old.
In 2019 I turned my dream into reality and started Chanel’s Gullah Cuisine Kitchen catering company which is named after my oldest daughter. Then in 2020 during the pandemic I opened our food truck that’s been successfully serving the Charleston and surrounding areas . I’m just trying to keep the Gullah/Geechee traditions alive with cooking from the soul!
