Keith Beavers is the Tastings Director of VinePair and the Host of Vinepair’s Wine 101 podcast. He previously owned In Vino Restaurant and Wine Bar and Alphabet City Wine Company wine shop in New York, where his stewardship was the subject of a New York Times profile in 2010. He is self-taught and has been a wine educator since his days at his businesses in The East Village. His love for teaching can be seen in the Wine 101 podcast, now in its fifth season, which is consistently top 25 on Apple podcast charts for food & wine in the US. The energy he brings to the audio realm is equal to the focus and energy he brings to tasting wine. Thoughtful, honest, and forever curious he is a champion of all wine. His goal in life is to bring wine to the masses in an approachable, entertaining way doing away with pretense and bringing out the fun in this ancient wonder.
