Justin Hall, Executive Chef of Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant, landed in Charleston in 2022 and couldn’t turn back. Justin grew up in small town Indiana, getting his culinary start by washing dishes in a family-owned Italian restaurant. After moving up the ranks to the hot line, he developed a love for kitchen life and pursued culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Chicago. Upon graduating LCB, Justin worked at the Peninsula Hotel Chicago where he combined his passion of food with hospitality and has worked in resorts and hotels ever since. Having worked in wilderness resorts and luxury hotels, his most notable roles include Executive Sous Chef for the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel and Executive Banquets Chef for the downtown Charleston Marriott before finding his home at Hotel Indigo where he continues to hone in on local cuisine. When not at work, you can find Justin exploring and dining his way through the Holy City.
