Brother's, chef's and co-owner's, Joe & Kevin Nierstedt were private chefs for high-profile clients and celebrities in NYC, The Hamptons, Malibu, Necker Island and Côte d'Azur before opening the doors to their first restaurant, KinFolk, in June 2019. With a combined total of over 30 years, their prior experiences include posts at some of the worlds best restaurants such as Per Se, Mugaritz and The Fat Duck. Located in their hometown of Charleston, the 30-seat restaurant pays homage to the meat & threes, smokehouses and chicken shacks of the south, putting fresh twists on the most craveable dishes while supporting local farmers and purveyors.
