Jillian Rowan grew up in Charleston, WV and moved here 7 years ago. After attending West Virginia University, she realized it wasn't the right fit and took some time to figure out what her passion was, all while personally cooking. She decided to attend school at CIC and two weeks later
moved down to this beautiful city. She has been working with Chef Ben Berryhill at the Red Drum for more than 4 years and considers it home. Chef Berryhill has given her confidence and the freedom to flourish, for which she is grateful.
She is currently the Chef de Cuisine at Red Drum Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
