Chef Jamie Davis is a native of North Carolina, but has spent time cooking all through the south. He started in the restaurant industry at 16 and has never looked back. He joined the army and spent time cooking for his fellow troops in Louisiana, and then served in Iraq before attending culinary school in Savannah, GA. He went on to cook in The DC/ Baltimore area before resettling in NC. He’s now the Executive Chef of The Hackney. He prides himself on his relationships with local fisherman and farmers, and getting the freshest food around.
