Filipe Caldas de Vasconcellos (@filipevasconcellos) has run his family’s estate in the south of Portugal, Morgado do Quintão (@morgadodoquintao) since 2016 and has launched one of the most irreverent wine brands in Portugal, in partnership with award-winning winemaker Joana Maçanita. The estate was founded by his 4th grandfather, the Count of Silves, and has been in the family every since. Today it welcomes many for wine tastings under a 2.000-year old olive tree who come in search of low-intervention wines made from indigenous grape varieties, grown organically from dry-farmed, older vines. The project is also home to design-led vineyard cottages. The brand is represented in the US by Olé Obrigado (@oleobrigado)
