Emmanuel Rybinski

Years of Participation

The family vineyard, entirely replanted in 1987 by Emmanuel’s father, is a single block of 29 acres located on the unique plateau of iron-rich limestone of Villesèque, small village part of Cahors appellation and situated at an elevation of 1,400 feet. Certified sustainable culture since 2005, the entire estate is now certified organic since 2010 and 2013 at the start of a Biodynamic practice. Fascinated by his Terroir, each of Emmanuel’s wines is the expression of a single parcel selection showcasing the different level of concentration of iron in the soil.

Emmanuel is part of this new generation in Cahors, focusing their work on making sophisticated Malbec from high maturity of grapes and a work on the tannins.
