Montage Palmetto Bluff announces the appointment of Daniel Vesey as Chef de Cuisine of River House. Chef Daniel has successfully led all aspects of Octagon restaurant, bar and in-room dining as well as oversight for Fore & Aft. He leads his team with inspiration and passion, transforming gastronomy into art, which is why he was the ideal fit for Chef de Cuisine of the newest dining space at Montage Palmetto Bluff, River House. Chef Daniel has an experience-focused mentality, playing a role in not only crafting exceptional cuisine but also shaping a memorable dining experience, embodying the sense of place.

With over 20 years of culinary expertise, Chef Daniel draws from an impressive career that expands throughout the country. After attending the Culinary Program at Kendall College in Evanston, Illinois, Chef Daniel immediately immersed himself in his craft as he continued to refine his skills through notable positions such as Chef de Cuisine at a Forbes 4 Star, AAA 4 Diamond and DiRona award-winning restaurant and, prior to coming to Montage, rebranded a diner to a well-rated Casual Fine-Dining establishment.

During his leisure time, Chef Daniel is an avid musician and collector, housing fifteen various guitar makes and models, including playing in different bands from Blues in Chicago, to Rock in Utah. In addition to painting and sketching, Chef Daniel loves traveling with his wife and son, as they have been everywhere from national parks in the Midwest and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, to Hawaii and the Caribbean.
