Chef Corey Jones was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and began his culinary career at the Anchorage Downtown Marriott at 16. After graduating high school, he attended Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC receiving his B.S. in Food Service Management & Culinary Arts. Corey has received a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Keller University. Before graduating with his undergrad Corey starting Chef Corey & Co., a personal chef & catering company. Chef Corey has cooked for players on the Charlotte Hornets, company presidents and CEO’s around Charlotte, and has been blessed to be featured on the T.V. show Charlotte Today. Chef Corey also held a position as Corporate Chef for SB&J Enterprises overseeing all food operations for the company that operated within the Charlotte Douglas Airport. During the recent Covid Pandemic, Chef Corey started his owned restaurant called Mad Dash. A fast casual style restaurant, operating inside The Market @ 7th, that specializes in gourmet sandwiches, tacos, along with loaded street style of fresh cut fries. Since opening the restaurant, Mad Dash was voted Best Chicken Sandwich in Charlotte by the Charlotte Observer and Charlotte Five.
