Growing up in Seattle in the 80's, Christian was immersed in the inception of American Craft Beer, and moved to Portland in 1990 to work professionally as a brewer. After 12 years in the brewing industry, Christian founded House Spirits Distillery where he created and developed Krogstad Aquavit, Aviation Gin and countless other spirits and brands. Christian left House Spirits Distillery in 2022, and has since worked as an industry consultant, in particular as the consulting master distiller of Four Corners American Gin.
