Brandon Olson is the CDC and Pitmaster at King BBQ in Charleston, SC. Brandon is a North Carolina native where he grew up loving and eating BBQ. He moved to Charleston 10 years ago to chase his dream of becoming a chef and has worked at many notable Charleston restaurants in where he honed his skill In whole hog butchery and charcuterie as well as BBQ. During those years he was nominated for eater young gun 2019 before becoming the opening sous chef at Jackrabbitfilly which was recently named yelps 6th best restaurant in the United States and Canada.
Brandon is very excited for the new venture of king bbq where he will be combing forces Shuai Wang that brings Chinese and Lexington, NC style bbq to the Lowcountry.
