Brandon Olson is the CDC and Pitmaster at King BBQ in Charleston, SC. Brandon is a North Carolina native where he grew up loving and eating BBQ. He moved to Charleston 11 years ago to chase his dream of becoming a chef and has worked at many notable Charleston restaurants in where he honed his skill In whole hog butchery and charcuterie as well as BBQ. During those years he was nominated for eater young gun 2019 before becoming the opening sous chef at Jackrabbitfilly. Brandon is very excited for the new venture of king bbq where he combines forces with Shuai Wang that brings Chinese bbq with southern smoke to the Lowcountry.
