I've been bartending for the better part of the last 4 years here in Charleston. What started as a way to pay my bills flourished into a creative outlet for myself. I began my time in the industry as support behind the bar, watching bartenders create cocktails in the heat of a Friday or Saturday night rush. Soon after my 21st birthday I found myself covering day shifts bartending and filling in loose ends in the schedule. Before I knew it I was in the well myself balancing service tickets and guest experience. I live for the rush, even when it’s stressful, in the end it's liberating. I have been fortunate enough to work at a restaurant that encouraged daily specials, allowing me the opportunity to continue learning everyday. With guidance from an incredible team of F&B workers who challenged me I found a love for Mixology.
