Amber Burling, a Houston native, is the culinary director of Goodnight Hospitality, whose restaurants include Rosie Cannonball, MARCH, and Montrose Cheese & Wine. She began her hospitality career working in hotels in Houston and New York City before graduating from both the French Culinary Institute in New York and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Amber spent seven years in Tulum, Mexico cooking at renowned live fire restaurant Hartwood, where she was the head chef for three years. She is passionate about live fire cooking and combining classic French technique with a rustic approach while highlighting seasonal and local ingredients.
