Albert Capitan is a Filipino-American chef that was born and raised in Charleston. He started cooking at an early age learning from his father, a retired mess cook in the Navy, and his mother, the type of Filipino mom that spent most of her free time in the kitchen and never let you leave her house without a full stomach and a plate to take home. Albert is also a graphic artist/designer and tries to utilize those skills and fundamentals when creating dishes.
