Aaron Goldfarb is a novelist, author, and journalist who frequently writes about the spirits industry and drinking culture for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Esquire, and VinePair, where he is the writer-at-large. He has written "Hacking Whiskey: Smoking, Blending, Fat Washing, and Other Whiskey Experiments" (2018) and "Gather Around Cocktails: Drinks to Celebrate Usual and Unusual Holidays" (2019). In 2022 he teamed with Steven Grasse, the creator of Hendrick’s Gin and Sailor Jerry Rum, to write "Brand Mysticism: Cultivate Creativity and Intoxicate Your Audience. " His latest book is "Dusty Booze: In Search of Vintage Spirits." He was named 2020’s Best Cocktail & Spirits Writer at Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards. He lives in Brooklyn with his family.
