This three-night package (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) includes accommodations for two people in a standard room in the historic John Rutledge House Inn. Built in 1763 this home is one of only fifteen homes belonging to those signers of the US Constitution to survive and the only one to now accommodate overnight guests. Located in the historic district of Charleston the inn is walking distance to Marion Square – the site of the 2018 Wine + Food festival.

The weekend will begin on Thursday night with That’s Amore (7:30-10:00pm).Imagine stepping into an Italian string-lit city block, right here in the Holy City. Sip fine Italian wines + spritz’ as you sway in the street with a cloud at your feet, to the sweet sounds of light jazz inspired by Dean Martin.

On Friday guests will meet a shuttle bus near Marion Square for an afternoon of fun and adventure. Kith + Kin! (11:00am-2:30pm). One of the Lowcountry’s oldest and most stunning waterside plantations will be the backdrop for this magnificent event. Celebrate with recipes passed down from generation to generation, forever kept as a sacred taste of home. Join some of the region’s most renowned chefs as they serve up dishes of their past that have influenced the artists they have become today. Delight in the tastes of these special family recipes. Transportation will be provided, shuttle bus time TBA.

On Saturday guests will enjoy the festival’s Culinary Village (12noon-5pm). The Culinary Village is the heart and soul of Charleston Wine + Food. Located in downtown’s Marion Square, the Village is the ultimate tasting experience. Your Village ticket grants five full hours of all-access tasting and imbibing. Check out the Main Stage where you can expect to see live music, as well as exciting demos and one-on-one conversations. The Hub area will be full with even more food and beverage vendors, and the Artisan Market will be stocked full of incredible local and regional makers showcasing their masterful creations and unique flavors.

Sunday morning will prove to be one of the highlights of the weekend with tickets to the Harlem + Hominy Brunch (11:00am-1:00pm), The coveted Gospel Brunch infused with a whole ‘lotta soul. This decadent brunch will embody the southern inspirations + time-honored traditions of New York’s iconic neighborhood. Your tastebuds will follow a trail from Charleston to Harlem with passionate flavors from NYC to the east of the Mississippi.

The Gastronome Package is limited in availability and is offered at a special rate of $2200.00(plus 14% tax) for two people. A deposit in the amount of $1460 will be due at time of reservation.
