
By rooting our everyday actions, behaviors, and decisions in generosity, we can drive an enormous amount of positive change. As a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Charleston Wine + Food’s Mission is to celebrate, educate, enrich, and promote the Lowcountry’s diverse culinary + hospitality community through world-class experiences. Over the last 16 years, the festival – integral to the organization’s mission – has welcomed nearly 335,000 attendees and generated over $112.2 million in economic impact. We do not take for granted that our work would not be possible without supporters like our Board of Directors; we count on this group of community leaders 365 days a year, and they embody the spirit of Giving Tuesday all year long.
Our Board is a group of enthusiastic advocates who volunteer and invest their time into the organization. These community members came together to support Charleston Wine + Food because they believe in the mission and the work the organization does to impact our local community. As leaders in the community, they act as brand representatives of Charleston Wine + Food and portray our values of people first, community, and good stewardship while providing the strategic resources to power the organization’s growth and health.
