As a Charleston native, Vincent made his start at the late five star, five diamond inn The Woodlands. There he was first exposed to the world of Food and Beverage. Though first being hired on the grounds maintenance team- he seized the first opportunity to move into the front of house service team. He later followed the then sommelier to help open a string of wine bars throughout Charleston, Accent On Wine. After venturing west to Los Angeles, California and opening James Beard recognized establishments such as Esters Wine Shop & Bar, Vincent moved back to Charleston, traveled to 30+ countries with his wife, and worked as a sommelier at the Charleston staple- Zero George Restaurant. Here had the support and inspiration to open his very own Wine Distribution Company: Wedderspoon Wine & Spirits. The portfolio focuses on small producers making wine in the way of Natural, Biodynamic, and Organic expressing their locations terroir to the best of their abilities.
