Tom Branighan is Co Owner and Executive Chef of MaMou in the French Quarter in New Orleans, LA. A native New Orleanian, Tom began his career at Emeril’s New Orleans and went on to train at the Culinary Institute of America. Tom has over 15 years of experience including time at Michelin rated restaurants such as Café Boulud and Bouley in NYC, as well as Lacroix, Jean-Marie Lacroix’s restaurant at the Rittenhouse in Philadelphia. Tom opened MaMou with Sommelier Molly Wismeier in November of 2022. MaMou has been named one of “the 24 Best New Restaurants of 2023” by Bon Appetit, to The New York Times “Restaurant List: The 50 places in the United States that we’re most excited about right now” and to Wine Enthusiast’s “Forward 50 Restaurants of 2024”.
