“My Journey started in North Carolina (Raleigh/Durham) working in hospitality restaurants and wine from 2017-2021.
My interest grew in German wine during covid as tribute to my heritage.
My mother Carmen and Grandma Ingrid passed away when I was very young. So when stepping into the wine industry, I knew I had to have a purpose bigger than myself. Germany would fulfill that.

Moving down to Atlanta in August 2021 things took off very fast. I had my first press trip to Germany where I was introduced to Weingut Riffel. [Weingut Riffel is an ecologically managed family business in the famous Scharlachberg in Bingen.] They had some of the best Pradikat wines from the whole trip but were not imported to the US yet. So luckily I met Jenna from The German Wine Collection who took a chance on me having my own wine. I pitched the idea to Carolin & Erik Riffel. They came back with two Grand Cru vineyards to choose from which was “Scharlachberg” & ‘Kirchberg” Scharlachberg, they had produced a kabinett from already, but the Kirchberg they hadn’t. So, I chose Kirchberg. I wanted to do something new. I saw the potential of a long-term partnership.

The 2022 Kirchberg Kabinett vintage was the first vintage and was the highest rated kabinett at the winery with 94pt rating By James Suckling.

Now the 2023 Vintage… was super amazing for me. I got to participate in bottling and harvesting this wine. We picked at 81 Oechsle and lots of selections which cause this wine to be outstanding.”
