Christian Favier is obsessive about drinks. Cutting his teeth in restaurants and bars around New York City, his passion for progressive drinking and high quality spirits became his life. Running bar programs from modern Lebanese to classic Italian aperitif to minimalist Scandinavian, he is always looking to push how people drink, and how he can better take care of and teach the people sitting across the bar. An overwhelming love of rum brought Christian to Charleston’s The Ordinary, working to create a modern rhum bar, growing the historic port cities love of rum. His newest project, Seahorse, with the team behind Chubby Fish, is a modern cocktail bar inspired by classic coastal flavors, and proves to be his most ambitious project yet.
