This program is dedicated to celebrating the unsung heroes who lend their voice, support, influence, and passion to make forward-leaning and lasting impacts on the Lowcountry’s diverse culinary + hospitality community, while paying it forward to raise up future generations.
Nominate an individual today that displays an unwavering dedication to and leadership of the people, artistry, generosity and perseverance that define our community and industry.
Nominees for this award should embody the following criteria:
Centered on Community: A laser focus on uplifting our local community and a track record of creating positive, meaningful change for the better.
People First Mentality: A priority of inclusivity and diversity in their engagement and community work. Making sure that not only does everyone have a seat at the table, but that they are invited to the room.
Stewards for Good: Operating with integrity and respect to the sustainability of our local community. Recognizing that business can be a vehicle for good.
This annual program will bestow a Community Impact Award upon a select few, who, nominated by their peers, display unwavering dedication to and leadership of the people, artistry, generosity and perseverance that define
Nominations Process:
Nominations will be accepted from November 12, 2024 until December 6, 2024 at 5pm EST. Nominations will not be accepted after the deadline. Nominations will be vetted according to the above criteria and scored by a group of community peers.
Luncheon Celebration: January 28, 2025
Chosen award recipients will be celebrated at our Community Impact Awards Fundraising Luncheon powered by REV ’s #UpTheGood Foundation on Tuesday, January 28th. This luncheon aims to raise funds beyond the festival to provide mentorship, resources, and opportunities that help shape the future of the Lowcountry region. Through education and mentorship programs within local school districts and post-secondary institutions, CHSWF is building a resilient and inspired community of culinary and hospitality professionals who are prepared to lead with innovation and compassion.
