The culinary road for Todd Garrigan lies throughout the South. Family plans, good friends and a love of Southern food led Garrigan to Charleston. Partnering with Charleston local Philip Fisher, Garrigan opened Craftsmen Kitchen & Tap House in 2012. Craftsmen is the first of its kind in Charleston. Focused around American craft beer, Garrigan’s food draws inspiration from the best pub food from around the world yet finds itself right at home here in the South. Handcrafted meats, pristine local ingredients and fresh fish are highlights, as well as many fermented and pickled foods. His commitment to properly sourced, fresh products shines through in simple, clean preparations that are unique and refreshing.
