I'm Laotian born and raised. I came to the US at the age of 9, as my family hoped for better education and living standards for me. I always had a passion for cooking and especially traditional Laotian/Thai food that I grew up eating. I started working at my first restaurant job at the age of 14 hostessing then started moving my way around FOH and BOH. With every job I had, I either self taught myself the the cooking method or was asked to sub for kitchen staff. I moved to Charleston to be with my husband. After having a daughter, with her being so adventurous with food, I wanted to get back into it. I opened up a catering company in 2018 and started a pop-up food stall throughout Charleston to introduce the real meaning of street food. I'm hoping to be able to share many wonderful, traditional, and authentic Laotian/Thai food to Charleston.
