Taïssa obtained her French certificate from the French high school Collège Marie de France in Montreal in 1996. She subsequently obtained her two Haitian baccalaureates, first and second part, in 1999 and 2000 respectively. She undertook studies in Sales and Marketing at Quisqueya University. In 2008, she received her degree in Catering from Penn Foster University of Pennsylvania.

As part of her continuing education, the Chef regularly takes advantage of opportunities to improve her skills; in 2017, she participated in “Taste of Haiti USA”. In 2018, she participated in the “Goût et Saveur Lakay” culinary Haitian festival from which she presented her sauces for the first time and won a Plaque of Honor. In 2019, she participated in seminars and workshops in Europe. She is also famous for her burgers in "Burger Week Haiti", she has won two titles "People's Choice" and "Best Local Burger" in 2021. More recently she participated in the “Haiti à Déguster” culinary festival in December 2023.

Cooking was one of her first passions as a child when her mother introduced her to it, particularly for special occasions and family meals. Chef Taissa has offered her Catering Services to several Official, private and public companies, embassies etc., she was twice Chef Caterer of the National Palace in Haiti.

Currently Owner of “Tasty Bites” in Haiti and “Fusion Bites” in Dominican Republic, which both are catering and events companies. Her catering services offer her clients a mixed Haitian-French cuisine and also provides cooking and “ Art de la Table “ courses. Its latest creation of sauces, marinades, flavored oils, based on local spices is added to its list of achievements and these new products are currently enjoying great success with its customers. Chef Taïssa continues to amaze with the combination of exotic flavors, preserving the fundamentals of taste and sets herself the goal of pushing Haitian gastronomy further by using local products for the most part and encouraging job creation in the country.
