A native of Ojai, CA, I was classically trained during the culinary renaissance that took place in turn-of-the-century Portland, OR. This foundation in culinary technique and creative expression was followed with several years cooking and eating through some of New York City's most venerated kitchens. With experience in the cuisines of East Asia, Argentina, France, Spain & the Levant; I now head the programs at Bellwether House and Folklore, where I marry the flavors of from around the world with the tradition of Southern sensibility.
