Ruben Santana is a young man with a truly inspiring life story, as he has used his setbacks as fuel to become a successful individual. This empowered man began his culinary journey in an empirical manner in the field of cooking. It all started with a barbecue in the backyard of his house during the pandemic, where he had plenty of free time. As he became more interested in the art of true Texas barbecue, he also began mixing it with his Dominican roots. The opportunity to participate in the Smorgasburg event in NYC arose, where people started to get to know him better and appreciate the deliciousness of his unique seasoning. Then came an opportunity to establish his own business located in Dumbo, Brooklyn, where he continues to make waves to this day.
