Trini Bites is a catering service and pop up vendor, serving Trinidadian-inspired cuisine. Established in 2021, we serve the Long Island, NY and surrounding NYC areas with food from the island of my ancestry, Trinidad and Tobago. Our food, with its rich culinary tapestry of African, Indian, Asian, & European influences, has often been overlooked as a delectable cuisine on its own and is often placed on pan Caribbean menus. We try to amplify the voice of this island nation, by bringing these flavors to the forefront in our pop up ventures and catering services. Currently, there are less than a handful of exclusively Trinidadian-inspired restaurants or catering concepts in my community (Long Island, NY). We wanted to address that gap, especially as the demographic continues to change, and offer familiar food paired with high quality customer service, to those joining our community. As the name suggests, in addition to the staple Trinidadian items, we are also able to provide smaller sized items for clients that may only want appetizers for catering options, and have created smaller versions of typical street foods, making it desirable for events such as cocktail parties, weddings, graduation parties, etc.
